Dr. Patricia K. Amado, received her undergraduate nursing degree from DeSales University (BSN), her master’s degree in nursing education MS(Ed), from Florida Atlantic University and her Ph.D. from Barry University. She is currently enrolled in an FNP program to enhance her clinical expertise. Areas of teaching include undergraduate and graduate courses across the curriculum as well as undergraduate student advisement and mentorship. Her research is focused on areas of breast cancer and creating healthy transition post-treatment. Dr. Amado is also recognized as a speaker in the nursing profession. She has spoken at international conferences and schools of nursing regarding her creation of liminal pathways in transitioning through chronic illness. Her research formed the basis of a concept analysis framework which she is developing to advance nursing practice. Past and present positions include Sigma Theta Tau, Delta Epsilon Iota International Honor Society and are an active member of the NLN and the ISNCC. Her most recent project is publishing her dissertation; The Lived Experience of Women with Breast Cancer During the Surveillance Phase of Recovery: A Hermeneutic Phenomenological Inquiry.
Dr. Roy Rillera Marzo is a Public Health Physician and Research Scholar. Currently, Dr. Roy is the Deputy Dean-Academic and Deputy Head in Medical Research and Ethics in Faculty of Medicine, Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia. He is a Fellow in the Royal Society of Public, UK, and appointed as an international supervisor of Southeast Asia for the Education Against Tobacco program. He is also an Executive Board of Fight Cancer Global (USA). The last year 2019, Dr. Roy received numerous international awards, such as Global Goodwill Ambassador, Outstanding Leadership Innovation for Medicine, Best Young Researcher Award, and won several times as Best Oral Research Presentation in international conferences. He is also an International Editorial Board Member in 10 international journals in Public Health and Medical Education.
Rebecca Love, RN, MSN, ANP is the Director of Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Northeastern School of Nursing and an experienced Nurse Entrepreneur, founding HireNurses.com in 2013. Rebecca is passionate about empowering nurses and helping nurses innovate, create and collaborate to start businesses to transform healthcare. Gerald C. Hsu received an honorable PhD in mathematics and majored in engineering at MIT. He attended different universities over 17 years and studied seven academic disciplines. He has spent 20,000 hours in T2D research. First, he studied six metabolic diseases and food nutrition during 2010-2013, then conducted research during 2014-2018. His approach is “math-physics and quantitative medicine” based on mathematics, physics, engineering modeling, signal processing, computer science, big data analytics, statistics, machine learning, and AI. His main focus is on preventive medicine using prediction tools. He believes that the better the prediction, the more control you have.
Mustafa ‘Mike’ Z Younis is an internationally recognized scholar and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Research of Healthcare Financial Management. Dr. Younis has authored and published over 200 articles, abstracts and presentations in refereed journals and meetings, and has presented at national and international conferences. Dr. Younis has administrative experience as Senior Advisor to the President at Zirve University & Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at Florida International University (FL, USA), where he led the accreditation efforts for the Healthcare Management Program. Dr. Younis has a history of playing visible roles on the editorial boards of journals as Chief Editor, Guest Editor and Editorial board member of leading journals, such as IJMR, JHCF, Inquiry, JHHSA, JPBAFM Dr. Younis is a frequent speaker for both academic and professional audiences. His talks often feature his latest research and work in progress, as well as cross-industry trends and strategy implications. He has provided workshops and presentations for worldwide organizations. Giuseppe Arena is currently working as a Chief Nursing Officer at ISMETT/UPMC Italy, in Palermo. He has published an article related to a new tool for the calculation of nursing workload and patient assignments. He has completed his education in LUSPIO University of Rome International Studies in 2nd level Master in "Health management and management of complex structures", 2011 – 2013, University of Catania with Specialized degree in nursing and midwifery sciences, 2009 – 2011, University of Palermo with Degree in nursing, 2007 and became a Nurse in 1996.
Sam Vaknin is Visiting Professor of Psychology, Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Professor of Finance and Psychology in CIAPS (Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies). Sam Vaknin is the author of Malignant Self-love: Narcissism Revisited and other books about personality disorders. His work is cited in hundreds of books and dozens of academic papers. He spent the past 6 years developing Cold Therapy: a treatment modality for Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Over the years, with dozens of volunteers, he found that it was effective with clients suffering from a major depressive episode as well.
